Finance Analyst

Mission: This role provides strategic, analytical, and operational financial support to the CEO and leadership team. It is a highly impactful position responsible for driving financial performance, optimising profit margins, and shaping the future of the company. You will play a critical role in enabling strategic decision-making through data analysis, scenario planning, and trusted financial advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting:
    • Prepare monthly P&L reports and presentations for the leadership team.
    • Conduct weekly transactional analysis based on Salesforce data.
    • Analyse past performance, identify trends and perform variance analysis.
    • Develop and update monthly financial forecasts based on current business trajectory.
    • Analyse project financials to identify optimization opportunities.
    • Track key Sales KPIs and advise on service offerings and improvements quarterly.
  • Strategic Support:
    • Participate in leadership meetings, presenting insights and recommendations.
    • Provide financial advice to enable the execution of business priorities and drive accountabilities.
    • Partner with the regional leadership team as a trusted financial advisor.
    • Develop and implement new financial processes and standards.
  • Operational Efficiency:
    • Manage accounts receivable and implement effective debtor collection strategies.
    • Ensure accurate and timely generation & reconciliation of client invoicing.
    • Manage budgets, allocate and report on department budgets.
    • Process payroll, including superannuation lodgment.
    • Advise resourcing manager on project team allocation including hiring priorities
