Mission: This role provides strategic, analytical, and operational financial support to the CEO and leadership team. It is a highly impactful position responsible for driving financial performance, optimising profit margins, and shaping the future of the company. You will play a critical role in enabling strategic decision-making through data analysis, scenario planning, and trusted financial advice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Prepare monthly P&L reports and presentations for the leadership team.
- Conduct weekly transactional analysis based on Salesforce data.
- Analyse past performance, identify trends and perform variance analysis.
- Develop and update monthly financial forecasts based on current business trajectory.
- Analyse project financials to identify optimization opportunities.
- Track key Sales KPIs and advise on service offerings and improvements quarterly.
- Strategic Support:
- Participate in leadership meetings, presenting insights and recommendations.
- Provide financial advice to enable the execution of business priorities and drive accountabilities.
- Partner with the regional leadership team as a trusted financial advisor.
- Develop and implement new financial processes and standards.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Manage accounts receivable and implement effective debtor collection strategies.
- Ensure accurate and timely generation & reconciliation of client invoicing.
- Manage budgets, allocate and report on department budgets.
- Process payroll, including superannuation lodgment.
- Advise resourcing manager on project team allocation including hiring priorities
