The Office 365 Administrator will be responsible for managing, customizing, implementing, and maintaining the Office 365 suite, including but not limited to Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Entra ID, and related services. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the Office 365 environment, ensuring seamless collaboration, and implementing robust change management and security best practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Office 365 Administration
- Manage and administer Office 365 applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online and related services.
- Configure user accounts, permissions, and access to ensure a seamless and productive user experience.
• Collaboration Platform Support
- Provide technical support for end-users utilizing Office 365 applications, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance collaboration tools and address user requirements.
- Foster a culture of collaboration by promoting best practices and encouraging effective use of Office 365 applications.
• Security and Compliance
- Implement and enforce security policies to safeguard data within Office 365 environment.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular security and account audits or assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Change Management
- Develop and implement change management processes for Office 365, assessing the impact of changes on end-users and communicating effectively.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to understand business needs and align Office 365 solutions accordingly.
- Plan and execute controlled rollouts of updates and features, minimizing disruption to daily operations.
• Documentation and User Training
- Create and maintain documentation for Office 365 configurations, processes and procedures.
- Develop comprehensive training programs for end-users on Office 365 applications and features.
- Conduct training sessions, workshops, and webinars to enhance user proficiency and adoption.
- Create and maintain user-friendly documentation and resources to support ongoing learning and self-service.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Office 365 Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Office 365 applications and services.
- Certification in Microsoft 365 or related technologies preferred.
