- The Tax Manager is responsible for the management and compliance of tax regulations of Food Group Ph and any future subsidiaries.The area of coverage includes all areas in the Philippines where the Food Group Ph operates and intends to operate.
- The incumbent shall introduce a comprehensive tax guideline, best tax practices and planning techniques, ensures that the Group is kept fully abreast of the changes and impact of relevant tax knowledge, developments and requirements, providing appropriate oral and written interpretations to avoid any exposure to tax risks and optimization of tax savings.
- The incumbent assists and advises the Group’s Controller in the optimization of the Group’s tax position by building knowledge of tax laws, relevant tax rulings and regulations and tax law developments and by promoting understanding of, compliance with tax laws through correct interpretation of these laws.
- The incumbent advises the Food Group Ph Controller and the Chief Finance Officer in leading a rapid and effective response to unanticipated situations with potential significant legal implications for the Food Group Ph.
- In addition, the incumbent is also responsible for ensuring compliance to new and existing regulatory requirements affecting the organization, including but not limited to:
- Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC)
- Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR)
- Board of Investment (BOI)
- Department of Energy (DOE)
- Department of Agriculture (DA)
- Bureau of Customs (BoC)
- Department of Finance (DoF)
- Local Government Unit (LGU)
- Philippine Ports Authority (PPA)
- Bureau of Animal Industry (BAI) and other government regulatory agencies .
