Senior Account Executive

Job Description:
Are you ready to take your accounting career to the next level? We're seeking a talented Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing financial accounts, leading a small team, and ensuring accurate reporting to drive our company's success. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management: Handling and manage the full set of accounts, including bank reconciliation, journal entries, and reporting tasks.
• Transaction Processing: Efficiently handle accounts payable and receivable to maintain smooth financial operations.
• Reporting and Analysis: Assist in preparing and interpreting management reports, financial analyses, and budgets to support informed decision-making.
• Team Leadership: Lead a small team, fostering collaboration and efficiency in achieving departmental goals.
• External Communication: Liaise with auditors, company secretaries, and relevant authorities to ensure compliance and transparency.
• Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the finance department. 

Job Requirements:

• Education: Minimum of a Higher Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Professional Qualification: ACCA/CIMA/CPA certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in accounting or auditing roles, with a solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
• Language Skills: Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, with fluency in Mandarin preferred for client interactions.
• Transportation: Must have own transport for commuting to work.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and familiarity with accounting software systems.
