PermanentWhat you'll be doing:
Production Line Leader coordinates activities of production line in a manufacturing unit. The main responsibility is quality control and production line monitoring.Key responsibilities:
Quality Control - Conducts quality checks of production lines. Conducts inspections and tests as per control plan, work instructions, and procedures. Verifies rejects from the lines. Verifies direct and indirect material’s quantity and quality per work order to ensure that the right amount and quality of raw materials are available for production. Conducts Line Clearance as per SOP.
Production Line Monitoring – Leads the daily production line monitoring and reporting of production output. Provides the work orders or schedules to the operators at the start of the shift and ensures that these work orders are completed efficiently at the end of the shift.
Problem Solving and Continuous Improvements - Identifies line abnormalities regarding quality, productivity, availability, performance, safety, and good housekeeping and find ways to resolve them. Performs KAIZEN activities in production line. Escalates issues to Production Supervisor as needed.
Training - Conducts on job training of operators and ensures they follow the work instructions and understand the defects criteria.
Admin Works - Completes paperwork and any associated administrative tasks related to the production line (e.g. accomplishing the Daily Production Report, reporting of SOR in EAM, accomplishing GITS, etc.).
Efficiently operates production equipment or machinery as need arises. Performs other duties as needed or assigned.
