We are looking for an experienced International Payroll Manager to oversee payroll processing across diverse international jurisdictions. Reporting to Payroll Shared Services, the International Payroll Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of payroll operations. This role entails various responsibilities, including vendor management, comprehensive data collection and analysis, oversight of Workday HR/Payroll records and integrations, payroll accounting, and share-based payroll reporting.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for the company headquarters in Bermuda and other international locations, ensuring meticulous accuracy and compliance with local regulations.
- Manage vendor relationships and service level agreements (SLAs) for all outsourced payroll to guarantee punctual and precise processing.
- Support projects relating to the creation of new legal entities and payroll implementation with outsourced vendor.
- Handle payroll inputs, including employee data, absence tracking, and benefits information.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, assuming the role of a subject matter expert on international payroll matters, to address inquiries, swiftly resolve issues, and provide guidance and support to team members.
- Manage pension contributions and funding, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and timely processing.
- Ensure accurate payroll accounting entries in Workday Financials and Great Plains, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Coordinate payroll reporting of equity and ESPP transactions, including stock options exercises, restricted stock vesting and semiannual ESPP purchase periods.
- Remain updated on international payroll regulations and compliance requirements, effecting necessary changes to processes and procedures.
- Provide substantial support during internal and external audits, including the preparation of documentation and responsive actions to inquiries.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned to contribute to the success and continuous improvement of the Payroll and Equity Operations function.
