The resource will be responsible for developing solutions for our clients to further position Merkle | Cardinal Path as a leading data, analytics, and insight service provider. We are searching for candidates that have experience building business intelligence dashboards, working with cloud hosted analytic databases, and conducting data analysis using SQL or Python.
An ideal candidate will have proven expertise in SQL alongside experience in databases such as BigQuery or Redshift. Experience with BI platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Datorama, or DOMO is essential. Knowledge in Python is also required, as well as experience in data ETL and working with product APIs. Experience in DBT or Alation is not required but is a bonus, as the immediate project work will include supporting adoption of Google Cloud Dataform and Google Cloud Data Catalog which are similar.
The work will require familiarity with media analytics data sources such as Campaign Manager 360, Display & Video 360, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Ads, Adobe Audience Manager, Facebook Ads, and more. An existing background in these types of tools is extremely beneficial but not strictly required depending on other experiences.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide project level of effort estimates involving data integration, data architecture, business analysis or application development
- Produce solution architecture and design documentation oriented towards meeting client needs
- Translate stakeholder business needs into detailed business/functional requirements documentation
- Support and improve upon ongoing standards and process for overall data architecture team, including developing governance, support and testing models
- Create datasets, extracts, or views of data that will be consumed by teams of analysts and data scientists to support data mining, analytics, reporting, and dashboards
- Perform exploratory data validation with analysts to ensure quality data standards are in place and ensure data integrity during all transformation steps
