- Support First Gen Occupational Health Manager in the Implementation of various occupational health programs of the Company in compliance with the Mandatory Health Management Standards (MHMS)
- Develop and implement the Company’s Health and Wellness program
- Conduct health information, instruction, and training programs to key internal and external health stakeholders
- Ensures that the site clinic is administered in accordance with established medical and nursing policies and procedures to include but not limited to delivery of first aid and specialist referral services, conduct of routine health examinations (APE), maintenance of accurate and confidential medical records and reports, and proper maintenance of clinic supplies and equipment.
- Support the Company’s effort to mitigate the health impact of its activities in the communities in which it operates. Linking to sustainable development, social performance management and license to operate plans and activities. Support health initiatives of the Company’s CSR team on health
- Participate in site health audits and reviews as required
- Participate in occupational health competency development and training programs for health personnel
- Work as a team together with the entire QESH team in the implementation of health related team objectives and targets
- Performs administrative and other functions as required such as: preparation and administration of OPEX/CAPEX for the Company, prepare and submit health reports, among others
- Support in the overall implementation of QESH initiatives insuring alignment with the overall health strategy
- Perform other duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Qualification Requirements:
- Registered Nurse
- At least one year work related experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
