PRODUCTION PLANNER
Creates moderately complex production schedules. Reviews current production schedules that support the manufacturingA process. Creates, tracks, and reports on the current production schedules.
About the job:
- Plans and prepares the production schedule for manufacturing. Analyzes moderately complex production specifications and plant capacity to provide inputs that determine processes, tools, materials, and labor requirements. (60%)
- Draws conclusions on potential improvement strategies for review with the production planning team. Recommendations may be shared with the business. (25%)
- Tracks changes to production schedule to monitor if production schedules are meeting set goals. (10%)
- Collects data/inputs needed to create the production schedules. (5%)
- Other duties as assigned.
About you:
- Education: Bachelor or university degree
- At least 4 years of related work experience
- Familiarity with manufacturing and manufacturing cost analysis
- Experience with global manufacturing companies preferred
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- High attention to detail
