- The Product Marketing Manager - Poultry will be under the supervision of the Vice President - Marketing, Agribusiness COE.
- This position will be responsible to support the food group and country operations with their Agribusiness development of the assigned product or category - Poultry.
- He/She will be responsible with regards to product innovation and create or manage new ranges utilizing market studies to validate concepts and ideas.
- This position will work closely with the Research & Technology Development team bridging them with the local Sales Team. Coordinate with Brand and Reputation, Market Research, local Marketing representatives and /or teams to help develop product brands and support the activation of these brands in the market. He/She will also partner with the Sales Managers / Teams and ensure relevance of launches / products in the identified sales channels - both offline and online.
- As the Product / Category leader for Poultry - the Product Marketing Manager will be in charge of product marketing and will interface with key stakeholders to ensure success in the market.
- The incumbent is expected to share his/her Agribusiness/Feeds expertise, enabling the food group meet its mission of feeding humanity.

Key Tasks
- Lead / Facilitate Assigned Product/Category - Lead and facilitate key stakeholders in managing the assigned segment across the food group.
- Market Research - Work with the Market Research Manager in gathering market data and competitive intelligence for assigned segments; translate these into relevant insights to serve as the foundation for new concepts and innovation
- Category Development - Have a clear understanding of the products, markets & consumers to enable him/her to grow the category for the food group by identifying opportunities and appropriate products and innovation for the market
- Product Management - Work with the Research & Technical Development team with regards to technical product development. Be able to take care of product information ensuring adherence to set regulations; he/she will identify the key product features, benefits and reasons to believe from a technical product point of view; these can be then translated into relevant story telling ℅ the Brand Team
- Packaging Development - Lead the packaging aspects taking into account local market needs / costs / social requirements
- Pricing / P&L / Budget Management - Will co-own the P&L of assigned products and categories. He/she will be responsible for total category budget management and will be in close partnership with the Research & Technical Development team, Brand, Marketing and Sales teams to help drive and support brand activation in identified key channels
- Help Manage and maximize opportunities in the identified sales channels - offline and online. Will work closely with the Sales, Trade Marketing, E-commerce and Brand teams.
