As a Supervisor, you will play a key part in looking after the team, ensuring that our monthly and other reporting deadlines are met. This also involve completing the detailed month end postings, preparation of accounting schedules, performing bank reconciliations and so forth. This individual would be expected to be involved in the year end audit process, alongside assisting with the other reporting requirements which we have.
We are looking for someone with a hands-on and can-do attitude. This will be key with ensuring that we can make the finance team fit for the future. The projects and ad-hoc work which the team have exposure to is significant and varied.
Key responsibilities:
- End to end month-end accounts closing and preparation of monthly management reports complete with supporting notes and schedules;
- Management of the year end audit process including preparation of financial statements in accordance to FRS, provision of workings, schedules and supporting documents on request;
- Payment processing and assist with cash flow reporting;
- Reconciliation of GST transactions and balances, if required and completion of return for quarterly filing;
- Preparation and update the Corporate Tax computation monthly and attending to queries and requests from the Tax Agent;
- Provision of proactive and insightful financial support to managers, Head of Finance;
- Completion of any other relevant regulatory returns;
- Driving process improvement and efficiencies across all of the finance activities;
- Liaising with various stakeholders both internally and externally;
- Managing and mentoring the staff accountants based in Manila;
- Taking the lead of various projects work as and when required and any other ad-hoc assignments.
