Responsibilities
- Contribute to the centralisation of APAC countries, functioning as the Centre of Excellence (CoE), tasked with ensuring smooth transition within the timeline given.
- Support the expansion of the Regional R2R team from time to time
- Support SSC Service Delivery Lead in training accountants in performing their allocated tasks in a timely manner to meet Group’s deadlines.
- Participate and actively contribute to process standardisation and optimisation exercises.
- POC in handling any R2R related queries and problem-solving issues that may arise.
- Ensure overall smooth centralisation of each country’s finance function and meeting the required deadlines and deliverables.
- Ensure processes are compliant with local country regulations and internal controls / risk management measures.
- Project management, tracking progress and providing updates/ reports analysing finance specific KPIs and metrics.
- Act as a backup support as an R2R accountant as required.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders involving local management and/or regional finance teams any queries that may arise from both the centralisation as well as day-to-day processes.
- Report deliverables and manage KPI targets.
- Support any new systems or process implementation as well as ensuring proper documentation of guidelines.
- Manage any ad-hoc tasks, financial topics and initiatives as required.
