Sheladia Associates is seeking a professional Team Leader/Project Management Specialist to join our team for an upcoming, ADB funded Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project in Philippines.
The project aims to enhance: flood and climate change resilience that is consistent with the Philippines Development Plan of 2023-2028 (PDP). The project’s major outcome is to reduce flood risk in three river basins.
The Team Leader/Project Management Specialist will provide the following services:
- Over-all liaison with the implementing agencies;
- Maintain good coordination among the Client, Asian Development Bank (ADB) and other stakeholders;
- Coordination of the input and output of the sub-teams (Outputs 1, 2 and 3) of consultants (both in the field and home based);
- Quality control of work carried out and output delivered by the sub-teams;
- Provide guidance to the sub-teams to ensure that the work meets the required standards and done within the agreed schedule;
- Over-all management and administration of the contract;
- Review and, if necessary, update the project implementation schedule with disbursement and contract award schedule;
- Reporting to the implementing agencies on progress of the work carried out by the sub-teams and the progress in achieving the goals and indicators of the project;
- Guide the development and implementation of the Project Performance Monitoring System (PPMS) of the project and preparation of the progress reports including analysis of the achievements of Design Monitoring Framework (DMF) of the project and other monitoring and evaluation indicator results, assessment of progress against workplan, identification of lessons learned, issues, solutions and recommendations;
- Ensure that the project-wide Grievance Redress Mechanism is properly set up and operational, and disputes, if any, are dealt with efficiently and swiftly in a transparent manner, and in line with practices acceptable to ADB and the Government of the Philippines.
