This activity will address the related issues of biodiversity loss and climate change impacts by enhancing an enabling environment, strengthening key institutions, and leveraging private sector investments and financing toward conservation, adaptation, and mitigation. The Activity will advance the synergy of biodiversity conservation and climate change mitigation and adaptation through the management of critical terrestrial and marine resources to ensure a sustainable provisioning of ecosystem goods and services improving ecological and community resilience. This program is a 5-year activity, and the total estimated cost ranges from $25 Million to $49.99 Million US dollars.
The Chief of Party (COP) shall be responsible for the overall management and implementation of the project and work together with the designated USAID Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). The COP shall supervise project implementation and ensure the project meets stated goals and reporting requirements. The COP will take a leadership role in coordination among USAID, key stakeholders, and other implementing partners.
