Sheladia Associates is seeking a professional Hydrologist/Hydromet Specialist to join our team for an upcoming, ADB funded Integrated Flood Resilience and Adaptation Project in Philippines.
The project aims to enhance: flood and climate change resilience that is consistent with the Philippines Development Plan of 2023-2028 (PDP). The project’s major outcome is to reduce flood risk in three river basins.
The Hydrologist/Hydromet Specialist will be based in Manila Project Office with frequent travels to project sites, as deemed necessary, which shall have the following responsibilities:
- conduct hydro-meteorological data analyses;
- draft the technical specifications of the necessary facilities and equipment i.e., x-band radars, hydromet systems etc.
- supervise the installation, testing and commissioning of the equipment and facilities;
- provide relevant training; and
- prepare relevant reports and documents.
