Salary Range: $800 - $1,500/month

Working Schedule: Fulltime, Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM (CST)

About the role:

The Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting the Care Navigation and Onboarding teams to ensure the company is able to provide outstanding patient experiences. The core responsibilities of the Operations Specialist will be triaging and responding to patient messages, ensuring that information is put into the correct systems, assisting with credentialing applications, ordering medical devices, and assisting with administrative functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for triaging inbound patient messages and responding to a subset that are level-appropriate. 
  • Assists with provider onboarding and ensuring we have excellent record keeping by ensuring information goes into the correct systems. 
  • Assists with credentialing applications during the onboarding of new providers. 
  • Facilitate the ordering of remote monitoring devices via our ordering system.
  • Facilitate troubleshooting of remote monitoring devices with patients via our communication systems. 
  • Input lab values into our EHR from lab documents received via email/fax. 
  • Utilizes sound customer service principles in relating to patients by negotiating effectively, resolving conflicts, seeking management assistance as appropriate, and responding as appropriate. 
  • Handles medical records requests and facilitates sending and receiving medical records as needed. 
  • Assist with scheduling meetings for providers and patients. 
  • Assists with other administrative tasks as needed

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience 
  • Prior experience in a medical office, hospital, outpatient clinic, or other health care settings. 
  • Must have experience working with insurance companies, and have extensive knowledge of different types of coverage and policies
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology 
  • Prior experience with credentialing is a plus 
  • Prior experience working with customers/patients directly
  • Ability to multi-task, detail-oriented, organized ability to maintain accurate records, work quickly to process items in a timely manner, collaborate with others
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Excellent organization skills and a self-starter.
