We are seeking an experienced Senior Performance Marketing Analyst (Contractual) to lead our marketing initiatives at Balsam Brands. You will oversee and optimize campaigns across Pay-per-Click, Programmatic, and Paid Social channels. Your responsibilities will include strategy planning, forecasting, execution, and evaluation, ensuring our marketing efforts are effective and aligned with our goals. What you’ll be doing:
Campaign Planning, Execution, & Optimization
- Plans campaigns in line with company and brand goals.
- Coordinates and cooperates with analysts regarding the execution of campaigns.
- Monitors and evaluates campaign performance.
- Conducts optimizations to keep campaigns performing according to spend, revenue, and other brand and company goals.
- Creates channel roadmap, and implements account initiatives and tests.
- Ensures campaigns are spending in accordance with expense metric goals.
Accounts Auditing and Monitoring
- Regularly conducts accounts audits as a check mechanism over analysts.
- Monitors accounts to ensure campaigns are aligned as planned.
- Works with vendors and agencies for account monitoring and optimizations.
Integrated Planning & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Integrated Planning:
- Plans channel initiatives to support integrated planning goals and presents to their functional leads.
- Implements integrated planning initiatives and applies customer insights in their channel campaigns.
- Identifies and requests for deliverables in their channel.
- Works with other sub-functional leads to learn and apply relevant strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Leads the creation, planning, and implementation of cross-functional initiatives.
- Coordinates with cross-functional counterparts for the creation, planning, and implementation of cross-functional initiatives.
- Monitors progress of initiatives.
- Analyze and report the performance of initiatives to the leads.
- Works with cross-functional partners for localization needs (e.g., Emma Keane and Localization Team).
- Works with Dev and Tech teams for tag implementation/audit in the event of new tools (e.g., SA360).
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Conducts regular performance analysis together with analysts.
- Determines reports for creation to aid performance analyses.
- Determines cross-functional reporting needs and coordinates with other functions for the report or data generation.
Business Reviews:
- Weekly meetings with the functional lead to present and review performance.
- Prepares performance reports and ad hoc deliverables for their channel.
- Executes analysis and season wrap-up slides for their channel.
- Raises flags within their account/channel and applicable next steps.
- Monitors and reports on competition, relevant news, and industry trends.
Peak Season:
- Monitors and optimizes their account/channel daily and during critical weekends. Sends out performance highlights during holiday coverage.
- Weekly meetings with their direct reports (if applicable) to review current business, analysis, and real-time optimizations.
- Weekly meetings with their functional lead to review current business, analysis, and real-time optimizations. More frequent updates are needed during big, critical sale days.
- Reviews competitive landscape and market trends to be able to pivot based on business needs quickly.
Finance & Budget Management
- Manages account spend and applies changes to ensure alignment with profitability goals.
- Updates Expense Metric files and ensures the accuracy of data.
- Creates revenue build-ups for their channel and implements updates.
- Creates and implements strategies for budget allocations.
- Leads the creation of annual projections of revenue and spend based on the campaign planning and in accordance with overall company and brand goals.
Peak Season:
- Monitors spend and revenue pace to goal projections of their channel, reports back, and provides key and real-time recommendations to functional leads.
- Checks EM% (spend to revenue) for their channel.
Other Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or any related field.
- Minimum two (2) to three (3) years of work experience in Performance Marketing relevant to the job.
- Proficient in MS Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Strong desire to learn and develop new skills.
- Great attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Location: The Senior Performance Marketing Analyst (Contractual) position is a work-from-home position for Balsam International Unlimited Philippine ROHQ in Manila. Team members in the Philippines are located within Metro Manila, Bataan, Batangas, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Pampanga, Rizal, and Tarlac areas only. Additionally, our corporate offices are based in Northern California with a Regional Operating Headquarters (ROHQ) in the Philippines. Company executives visit the Philippines regularly, so team members attend in-person meetings from time to time.
Our must-haves:
- Must be open to joining some face-to-face gatherings, like our monthly functional meetings and quarterly teamwide events.
- Must have a back-up laptop or desktop for use, if primary laptop encounters issues.
- Must have a fast, reliable DSL, Fiber or Broadband connection (not mobile or broadband stick) as the primary internet connection with a minimum actual speed of 10MBPS.
- Must have a back-up internet connection of the same speed, if primary connection becomes spotty.
Note: An online assessment will also be part of the recruitment process.
Status: This is a contractual position with no benefits included.
Duration: This post will run for six (6) months only.
Hardware Provision: Company-issued Laptop will not be provided.
