As an Area Controller, you work with the Area Team and the Sales Market team you will work towards maximizing selling potential while driving sales performance and customer centricity in all parts of our work. Together with the Area Team you are responsible for reaching the Sales & Profit goals in your Area by securing that the stores deliver a Great Customer Experience. Acting as a leader with a strong analytical focus and knowledge-based approach; you train and coach Stores and the Area Team on controlling topics to enable our people and our business to grow.
Key responsibilities
- Together with the Area Team follow up on commercial KPIs, identify commercial opportunities and execute the strategy to reach the country goals with the Area Team
- Budget Sales, Hours and Salaries for all stores in your Area and in line with the Country goals. Perform monthly P&L analysis to determine actions to improve the results. Work proactively and forecast selling and salary cost development alongside the Area team to take the necessary actions to drive selling and increase profitability
- Follow up sales and hours planning to support and educate the Stores in aligning sales planning and scheduling to drive efficiency and drive a great customer experience. Make frequent store visits to follow up and coach management team on Controlling topics to secure a great customer experience
- Review concept selling performance and ensure right stock levels and garment availability with Merchandising Team and Store Management. Drive commerciality and selling by coaching the Store Team on the right way to work with garments
- Partner with Sales Market Controller to identify, recruit, develop and train Controlling talent to support the business needs. Coach and communicate clearly about business performance and goals to your Stores and Area Team.
