Finance Executive

Role Purpose

This role is to provide support to Finance Supervisor in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance/Accounting Department, which includes, but not limited to, accounts payables, expenditures and other payments, fixed assets or tax accounting, as well as financial information analysis and other ad hoc projects assigned.

You will play an important role in:

  • Ensure accounting records are maintained in accordance with relative Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS/MFRS and MPERS/PRC GAAP), tax laws, and other statuary rules, and ensure timely and accurate monthly closing.
  • Assist in other financial activities of the companies including- preparation of management reports, financial analysis, quarterly budget and as well as ad hoc report.
  • Assist Liaising with auditor on statutory audit and responsible to prepare timely and accurate Audited Financial Statements annually.
  • Assist liaising with tax agent on tax queries, computation, and submission.
  • Assist liaising with bankers and headquarters finance managers by arranging meetings and building communication channels in real time.
  • Prepare monthly cash flow report and other related documents such as bank reconciliations.
  • Manage the supplier/other payments, ensuring timely verification of invoices and processing.
  • Assist in maintaining customer billing and tracking payment from customers.
  • Ensure smooth documentation and administration by maintaining proper filing and recording system.
  • Perform other assignments and tasks as and when requested by management.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Required language(s): Bahasa Melayu, English, Mandarin (candidate needs to liaise with Taiwan and China counterpart)
  • At least 2 Year(s) of relevant working experience
  • Required Skill(s): SAP, Microsoft Office
  • Computer literate. Good understanding and knowledge of excel, power point, and SAP processes/cost accounting is an added advantage.
  • Planning and organizing skills. Has a sense of urgency to complete tasks on time.
  • Team player, ability to interact well with people.
