Position: HR Associate
Type of contract: Independent contractor
Role Description:
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Assist in the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and reference checks.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting onboarding sessions, and ensuring all required documentation is completed.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and accurate information.
- Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives and programs.
Performance Management:
- Assist in the administration of the performance review process, including tracking review completion and providing guidance to managers and employees.
- Help develop and implement performance improvement plans as needed.
Training and Development:
- Coordinate training sessions and seminars, including scheduling, logistics, and materials preparation.
- Organize and conduct training sessions as needed, ensuring they align with company objectives and employee development plans.
- Maintain accurate training records and track employee participation and progress.
- Provide administrative support for training programs, such as preparing training materials and managing training schedules.
- Assist in the evaluation of training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements..
Benefits Administration:
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
- Provide support to employees regarding benefits inquiries and issues.
HR Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both electronically and physically.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of required HR reports and documentation.
Other Duties:
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance the employee experience.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Law degree preferred*
- 3 years of experience in an HR role or similar capacity.
- Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
