Position: HR Associate

Type of contract: Independent contractor

Role Description:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Conduct initial candidate screenings and reference checks.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, conducting onboarding sessions, and ensuring all required documentation is completed.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing timely and accurate information.
  • Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives and programs.

Performance Management:

  • Assist in the administration of the performance review process, including tracking review completion and providing guidance to managers and employees.
  • Help develop and implement performance improvement plans as needed.

Training and Development:

  • Coordinate training sessions and seminars, including scheduling, logistics, and materials preparation.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions as needed, ensuring they align with company objectives and employee development plans.
  • Maintain accurate training records and track employee participation and progress.
  • Provide administrative support for training programs, such as preparing training materials and managing training schedules.
  • Assist in the evaluation of training effectiveness and make recommendations for improvements..

Benefits Administration:

  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
  • Provide support to employees regarding benefits inquiries and issues.

HR Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both electronically and physically.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of required HR reports and documentation.

Other Duties:

  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve HR processes and enhance the employee experience.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Law degree preferred*
  • 3 years of experience in an HR role or similar capacity.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite
  • Experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
