Strategic Analytics is a growing team at Arch that designs and builds analytics and automation tools for users across Arch’s insurance operation. The team’s mission is to improve employee engagement, productivity, and responsiveness to facilitate growth. To be successful, we need create efficient business workflows that incorporate innovative technologies, such as: RPA, AI-powered intelligent document processing, data enrichment via third-party sources, and assisted decision making based on analytics.
As RPA Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and establishing automation capabilities at Arch Insurance. You will support the RPA team with solution definition, build and implementation of RPA opportunities across Operations, Claims, Finance and Underwriting teams. This includes coordinating with Business SME’s and members of the Strategic Analytics (SA) team.
- Solution Development - building solutions in accordance with standard and internal design principles, conventions, and best practice using RPA
- Solution Design - working closely with the RPA Business Analyst as well as directly with business stakeholders to deeply understand the current state and design the most efficient and optimal to-be solution.
- Optimization - adopting continuous improvement mindset to all business processes
- Impact Analysis - awareness of how changes, including new or updated processes and automations will impact the business operations and customers.
- Maintain and demonstrate an up-to-date knowledge of toolsets used, industry software developments and best practice standards.
- Virtual Workforce Management – deploying automated processes in line with established Arch Change Control practices.
- Adhere to the RPA framework put in place, and ensuring status of all assigned tasks is regularly updated and all technical documentation is kept up to date
- Testing – working closely with the RPA Business Analyst authoring detailed business & technical testing scenarios and running System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Initially support and maintain existing Live automations – including root cause analysis, clean-up and bug fixes, in line with established Arch Change Control practices.
