The data analyst is responsible for collection, organization, scrubbing, interpretation, analysis, documentation and dissemination of cat modeling exposure and results. The candidate will process insured exposure schedules to ensure data integrity through queries, views and reports. This candidate will provide underwriting support as part of the US CAT Modeling team.
- Interpret data, analyze results and provide ongoing reports
- Develop and implement data cleansing techniques and strategies that optimize workflow efficiency and data quality
- Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
- Identify, analyze and interpret trends or patterns in exposure and loss data sets
- Filter and scrub data, evaluate for performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
