About the role:
Job Title: Sourcing Specialist for Events & Caravans
Working Schedule: Full Time | 40 hours per week | Flexible
Type of Contract: Independent Contractor
Salary: up to PHP 35,000
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pre-Event Planning and Research:
- Collaborate with recruiters and client success to understand hiring needs and ideal candidate profiles.
- Research companies, speakers, and attendees to identify potential candidates.
- Develop outreach strategies using social media and online communities.
- Prepare presentations and materials showcasing the company's culture and opportunities.
- Event Execution and Candidate Engagement:
- Network with attendees at events, career fairs, and conferences.
- Deliver engaging presentations about the company and career opportunities.
- Conduct one-on-one conversations to assess candidate qualifications and interest.
- Use questioning techniques to uncover hidden talent.
- Promote the company culture and career paths to generate excitement and applications.
- Post-Event Follow-Up and Reporting:
- Follow up with qualified candidates to maintain interest and advance them through the interview process.
- Track and report on sourcing activities and results.
- Analyze sourcing metrics and suggest improvements for future events.
- Provide feedback on event effectiveness to the Recruitment team.
- Ongoing Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain relationships with key contacts at universities, industry organizations, and event organizers.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging talent pools by attending webinars and conferences.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment or a similar role.
- Proven experience with sourcing talent at industry events, career fairs, and conferences.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, Notion and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) like Workable
- Strong understanding of social media recruiting strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse audiences.
- Enthusiastic and professional demeanor with a passion for building relationships.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
