Position : Product + Graphic Designer
Working Hours : Full - time; 9AM - 5pm EST (can be flexible)
Salary: USD 1,500 - USD 2,000/month
This position is a hybrid role that combines the responsibilities and skills of both a Product Designer and a Graphic Designer. Each role requires a commitment of 20 hours per week, providing a balanced focus on both user-centric product design and visually compelling graphic design.
Main Responsibilities:
Your primary role as a Product Designer:
- Partner closely with our Engineers and Product Managers to iterate on product opportunities and turn them into delightful experiences for our users
- Pushing the boundaries of your pod’s UI/UX execution and rapidly prototyping solutions that are simple, elegant, and user friendly, and iterating based off of those results
- Leading design critiques, gathering & providing constructive feedback, and making influential design decisions that shape our product
- Communicating across the entire business to gather feedback while helping other teams to improve their design thinking skills
Your primary role as a Graphic Designer:
- Plug into the existing marketing workstreams and own the production of creative assets (static, video, motion graphics, animations etc.)
- Design and execute A/B tests for landing pages across each paid channel
- Track and measure performance metrics and prepare summary reports for the marketing team as well as senior leadership
- Analyzing high-level campaign performance and recommend creative strategies or performance testing
- Support the product and sales team with ad-hoc creative requests
Skills and attributes we are looking for in a Product Designer:
- 3-5 years in a Product Design role
- Experience building UI for both Mobile and Desktop is a must
- Ability to leverages specific insights to drive your design decisions and is passionate about partnering with other teams to create rapid experiments and designs
- Strong knowledge of User Interface and User Interaction design
- Proficiency with current design tools (we use Figma, InVision, and Abstract)
- An exceptional ability to articulate your design process and decisions and present cohesive design approaches to a non-design audience
- You are someone who is able to efficiently run with multiple projects relatively autonomously and ensures you are delivering against business needs
Skills and attributes we are looking for in Graphic Designer
- 2-3 years designing email templates & 3+ years on the social media/ performance media design
- Working knowledge of digital marketing channels and strategies
- Experience with email campaign design and layout
- Expertise in Adobe CC, Figma and Canva are required
- Experience using Sketch, InVision, AdobeXD or similar products.
- Fluency in understanding and interpreting strategy, creative/campaign briefs and developing initial brand and design concepts
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Working knowledge of front-end development and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Comfortable with public speaking and presenting results and findings in front of senior leadership
