The Research and Development Product Technologist conducts product application-specific tests and experiments
The Research and Development Product Technologist performs the following functions:
Performs analyses and statistical comparisons of results to contribute to product innovation.
In charge of gathering data, keeping accurate records, making sure records are filed correctly, and preparing the reports required.
Maintains records and submits monthly reports of all analyses and testing done.
Tests and evaluates products based on their intended applications in a timely manner, with accurate and verifiable results, and communicates these to R&D Supervisor for appropriate actions.
Standardizes the recipes to be used for product testing and customer requests.
Performs modification of the recipes according to product requirements.
Facilitates the preparation of the samples requested by TBMs, TSGs or customers.
Assists in bakery training and similar activities.
Conducts expanded applicability tests (e.g different formulations, new ingredients, etc) of developed products.
Develops test procedures, forms, and other documents required for the establishment and maintenance of the R&D System.
Monitors the inventory of all consumables for application testing (ingredients, tools, others).
Files for liquidation and reimbursements in the system.
Maintains cleanliness (GMP) of R&D Bakeshop/ Application Lab.
