Main Accountabilities:
- Process - implement programs to drive improvement in cost, quality and delivery. Design and ensure full utilization of company in MRP in according to relevant procedure, supplier relations management etc.
- Purchasing/Buyer Strategy - implement effective buyer strategies in line with business strategy and continuous improvement process sourcing strategy with Group Sourcing Manager, to ensure suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future company business requirements.
- Procurement - Manages planning and tracking of jobs/project purchasing activities, cost budgets, spending and savings forecast. Ensure buyers to minimze risk regarding quality and financial exposure by buying accordance with quality ad commercial procedures and in accordance with company guidlines.
- Monitoring - Monitor the project buying proceses and activities. Pro-actively works to resolve issues related to buying systems, procurement cost, quality and delivery. Monitor and reports internal and direct material suppliers performance, quality issues and development actions.
- Suppliers Agreements - Work closely with procurement sourcing team, quality, to ensure appropriate supplier selection. Defines and establishes standard agreements with all major local suppliers.
- People Leadership and development - Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directe. Guides, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
Job Requirement:
- Candidate should possess a Diploma / Advanced Diploma, Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Business Studies / Administration / Management, Logistic / Transportation, All Engineering Field
- Preferably at least 5 years of related working experience.
- Preferably undefined specializing in Manufacturing / Production or equivalent.
- Good communication skills in English, Malay, Mandarin language for both spoken and written
