- Liaise with relevant government officials, corporations, property managers, and any others involved in cruelty cases
- Work to secure rescues of animals involved in cruelty cases or to provide a solution that will prevent future harm to animals
- Create and implement innovative ways to promote adoptions
- Coordinate volunteers for PETA’s projects, as needed
- Assist with disaster responses, spay/neuter event promotions and field clinics, and other field projects, as needed
- Coordinate fundraising efforts for PETA’s animal assistance programs, including corresponding with companies interested in supporting PETA’s efforts, leading fundraising events, corresponding with donors, and keeping them updated on PETA’s work
- Verify reports of animals in distress or danger by traveling to locations and coordinating responses, rescues, and/or medical care
- Provide animals in the organization’s custody with care, including walking dogs, feeding animals, cleaning up after them, providing medication, and giving medicated baths
- Conduct adoption follow-up visits as needed
- Log photos and reports, including about expenses, and submit them in a timely manner
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
