ROLE SYNOPSIS

Someone from Fashion and retail industry will be an added advantage with a minimum 4- 6yrs of experience in Accounting, Finance, Planning & Budgeting, Banking, Import and Taxation. Audit experience in big/ medium sized audit firm would be an added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible to manage complete Finance scope- Accounting, Taxation, Reporting and Analysis, Audit-internal & external for Malaysia operations including with financial reporting standards, company policies, related regulatory / statutory requirements.
  • Liaise with Auditors, bankers, Insurer and other vendors and keep a control of overall cost of the business.
  • Experience of handling Transfer pricing transactions, regulations and filings.
  • Review Tax Computation, Tax Return, estimate tax payment and filings of indirect taxes such as SST, Withholding Tax with local authorities.
  • Preparation & Reporting of monthly P&Ls and reports for store operations and overall business with flux analysis.
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of Sales, margins, expenses, P&L, BS, cash flow.
  • Exercise budgetary controls and carry out variance analysis of expenses and revenue.
  • Adherences of the SOPs and recognize gaps & requirements for additional or amendment to existing SOPs.
  • Coordinating with the buying team and supply chain for imports documentation requirements.
  • Degree in Accountancy or professional qualifications (ACCA, MICPA, CPA).
  • Must be from Fashion & Retail background with experience in Finance and Accounts division for 5 years with hands on experience in Finance, Accounts, MIS & Reporting, Budget & Planning, Taxation Direct & Indirect, Transfer pricing, International Transactions, Legal and secretarial
  • Good communications skills.
  • Should have command over English
