Job Title: Digital Marketing Assistant - Paid Social / Paid Ads Specialist - Paid Social / Media Buying Specialist - Paid Social

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST

Salary: $1,400 per month

Experience: Minimum 3 years experience

Overview: 

We’re looking for a creative and analytical full-time Paid Social specialist with a passion for performance marketing and advertising to join our team remotely. You will create & manage ads using the Meta ad buying platform (and potentially other paid social channels like LinkedIn and TikTok), and collaborate with our team to formulate strategic action plans for each client.

The ideal candidate is both creative and performance-driven, a team player who is also a proactive and independent thinker. Applicants should have an understanding of paid digital advertising or ecommerce marketing, and an aptitude for analyzing data and identifying performance trends.

As a part of our team, the Paid Social specialist will have the opportunity to learn firsthand how to leverage performance analytics for long-term client growth, develop innovative content ideas for social, and grow their skills in a fast-paced and exciting startup environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage paid social media ad budgets, making adjustments to ensure KPIs are hitting goals
  • Create and traffic ads daily using Meta ad buying interface, with a strong attention to detail & ensuring client ads are without error
  • Perform weekly reporting on specific initiatives or overall account performance
  • Build recurring and ad hoc reports and internal account analyses that are both performance & creative development-driven
  • Strategize, execute, and manage a variety of client Meta ad campaigns
  • Translate technical concepts into actionable, tactical and strategic action plans
  • Familiarize yourself with client products & come up with promotional strategies on paid social
  • Continuously measure and optimize campaign performance while also establishing benchmarks and recommending future tests
  • Gather data on consumer, competitor, and market conditions.





  • Ability to work 9am - 6pm EST hours
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent media buying/ advertising analyst experience
  • 3+ years experience in paid digital advertising or related field such as financial services, consulting, performance marketing, media buying, lead generation, or other quantitative/data-driven fields
  • Knowledge of Meta Ads Manager (Meta Ads certified preferred)
  • Knowledge of Meta Business Manager
  • Proven ability to maintain strong internal, external, and client relationships
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills including the ability to handle multiple projects and ongoing work items; while effectively managing changing priorities.
  • Strong, professional verbal and written communication
  • Strong analytical track record
  • Proactive, organized, and able to work well individually and in a team environment (self-starter who thrives in a startup environment)
  • Strong knowledge of performance marketing and KPIs vital to e-commerce such as ROAS, CAC/CPA, Conversion Rate, AOV, etc. (preferred)
  • Understanding of the online advertising industry and paid search landscape (preferred)
  • Experience working with Excel/Google sheets for reporting metrics, including constructing pivot tables (preferred)
  • Experience working on Marketing Decks (preferred)
  • Capable of navigating Google Analytics, Shopify, or other platforms. (preferred)
  • Experience managing monthly media budgets of $50,000 or higher. (preferred)
