Job Title: Fulfillment Specialist

Schedule: TBD

Salary: $1200+/month

Location: Fully Remote

As the Supply Chain Fulfillment Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the client's operations by managing the end-to-end fulfillment process, from order processing to shipping and delivery. You will work closely with their warehouse team, logistics partners, and customer service team.

Responsibilities:

  • Fulfil.io Experience: Previous experience using Fulfil.io to streamline order fulfillment processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and stock availability, coordinating with the warehouse team to ensure adequate stock levels to fulfill customer orders.
  • Shipping Coordination: Coordinate with logistics partners and carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries, ensuring timely and cost-effective shipping methods.
  • Quality Control: Perform quality checks on outgoing orders to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to quality standards before shipping.
  • Order Tracking and Communication: Provide order tracking information to customers and internal stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues or discrepancies related to order fulfillment.
  • Report Generation: Create monthly reports across all fulfillment channels. 
  • Amazon Shipment Management: Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to and from Amazon fulfillment centers, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to Amazon’s guidelines and requirements.
  • Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) Operations: Manage FBA inventory levels, monitor FBA storage fees, and coordinate FBA shipments to optimize inventory turnover and minimize storage costs.
  • Inbound Supply Chain Management: Work closely with the planning team to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and coordinate inbound shipments from suppliers to fulfillment centers, ensuring adequate stock availability and minimizing stockouts.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels across Amazon fulfillment centers and coordinate replenishment shipments as needed, maintaining optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand and minimize excess inventory.
  • Distribution and Mapping: Collaborate with the distribution team to map inventory to fulfillment centers based on demand patterns, geographic location, and shipping costs, optimizing the distribution network for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in Amazon operations and supply chain management, implementing best practices and automation solutions to streamline workflows and reduce costs.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Amazon operations and supply chain management, analyzing data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement, and reporting findings to management.

  • 2+ years of experience in order fulfillment, logistics, or warehouse operations, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
  • 1+ year experience in  Fulfil.io
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain high standards while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software, including order OMS, WMP, IMS, ERP and shipping software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of shipping and logistics processes and regulations is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Amazon’s fulfillment processes, including FBA operations, inbound shipment management, and inventory replenishment.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and software, with experience using Amazon Seller Central and other ecommerce platforms preferred.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize operations and improve performance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or related field, preferred.
  • Love of food and cooking! Cooking skills and/or experience in the culinary industry a plus.
