As a SEO Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating SEO efforts carried out by a team of Technical SEO Specialists. You will work closely with the Director of SEO to develop and implement effective SEO strategies, ensuring adherence to industry-leading standards and a commitment to quality. Your role will involve prioritizing tasks, evaluating completed work, and serving as a key point of escalation for Specialist team members.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Director of SEO to develop and implement SEO strategies.
- Actively participate in weekly SEO Meetings, contributing to problem-solving and team strengthening efforts.
- Conduct weekly Same Page meetings with Technical SEO Specialists to ensure alignment and progress.
- Serve as the first point of escalation for Technical SEO Specialists.
- Conduct comprehensive 'Find-and-fix' SEO audits on client websites using industry-leading SEO software and best practices.
- Review and address strategy-based SEO issues raised by Account Managers or clients.
- Collaborate with other SEO departments (Content, Local, Link Building) to achieve client and company objectives.
- Utilize data to inform and influence SEO strategies.
- Coordinate with other digital marketing departments (PPC, Social, D&D) to meet business objectives.
- Stay updated on SEO and integrated marketing trends.
- Analytical and perceptive individual with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Current knowledge of SEO practices and techniques is essential.
- Proven experience as an SEO Manager, SEM Manager, or similar role.
- Deep understanding of relevant and current SEO best practices.
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
- Experience with SEO reporting platforms such as Rank Ranger, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Agency Analytics, etc.
- Familiarity with relevant tools (e.g., Conductor, Screaming Frog, MOZ, Ahrefs, GSC) and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, WebTrends).
- Excellent communication skills and dependability.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Technology Requirements: Own Laptop or Desktop (8GB RAM, Core i5 or above) with an internet connection of at least 10 Mbps.
- Open to working Pacific Standard time, this means a graveyard shift for the Philippines.
