We are looking for an experienced manager who specializes in cost segregation to handle our diverse portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of cost segregation studies, tax depreciation methods, and IRS regulations. This role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cost segregation studies for various properties.
- Analyze and classify building components to maximize tax benefits.
- Prepare detailed cost segregation reports for clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to gather necessary information.
- Ensure compliance with IRS regulations and guidelines.
- Provide expert advice on tax depreciation and cost segregation strategies.
- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations related to cost segregation.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cost segregation.
- Worked before in one of BIG-4
- Strong knowledge of tax laws in the United states, IRS guidelines, and depreciation methods.
- Proficiency in using cost segregation software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Experience working with a variety of property types.
