The key accountabilities are, but not limited to:
- Drafting and negotiating client / agency agreements, letter of intent, memorandum of understanding, NDAs etc.
- Dispute management and resolution
- Supervising external lawyers on litigation and company secretarial functions
- Corporate secretarial services
- Advising on compliance with advertising standards and regulations
- Advising on copy clearance and general clearance of advertising and promotion materials, social media campaigns and developing guidelines
- Advising on intellectual property rights (IPR), and protection of IPR
- Advising on agreements with artists, freelancers, photographers, animators and other third parties and carrying out negotiations with such third parties
- Reviewing and negotiating media buying agreements and other standard terms and conditions of business
- Advice in relation to licensing of third party information and data systems
- Reviewing and negotiating technology development and digital marketing agreements
- Advising on data protection compliance, data security and standard terms and conditions of website use
- Advising on third party license agreements and content contribution
- Updating all business departments on changes in the law which might impact business
- Advising on employment matters, employment disputes and non-voluntary terminations
- Formulating policies and processes to minimise company’s risk
- Updating of all commercial and employment templates
- Conducting out trainings
- Implementing and carrying out the group’s anti-corruption program
- Ad hoc projects as required
