Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed, precise, and clear technical drawings and plans for steel frame components and structures.
- Collaborate with client’s engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Review and interpret blueprints, sketches, and other technical documents to create accurate drawings.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software to generate 2D and 3D drawings.
- Make necessary adjustments to drawings as required and ensure they conform to industry standards and company guidelines.
- Maintain an organized record of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
- Assist in the development of material lists and specifications.
- Communicate with production and manufacturing teams to ensure that drawings are effectively translated into finished products.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in drafting and design
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Draughtsperson or similar role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction methods.
- Attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, clear, and detailed drawings.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of steel frame design and manufacturing processes is a plus.
- A degree or diploma in drafting, engineering, or a related field is desirable.
