The Fixed asset Supervisor is responsible for the overall fixed asset accounting and reporting of Western Digital’s (WD) Asia Pacific region. She should ensure that a robust accounting controls, accounting quality and compliance are in-placed. The position will report to the Fixed Asset Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations and monthly closing activities of the Fixed asset process
- Review of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting including reporting packages for management team, tax requirement and various ad hoc requests
- Manage the fixed asset team to meet Fixed asset department objectives
- Be a business partner by reporting accurate numbers and support operations team from an accounting standpoint
- Manage or Participate in corporate initiatives projects and ensure that finance tasks and activities are addressed in a timely manner
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
Primary responsible in interacting with external and internal auditors and ensuring smooth audit close.
- Management of FA analyst’s individual career objective, development, and performance.
