Job Description for Credit Assessment (Specialist)

• Making decisions in Credit Assessment for all the applications submittedby applicants or merchants according to limit authority
• Awareness of Market Trend and proposalon the enhancement need
• Ensure the Quality Assurance in all respective operation
• Develop self maintain knowledgein the area of specialization / relevant skillsat all times
• Deliver good customer services as good role models
• To performprudent and sound credit evaluation for loans according to authority limit
• To review,recommend and delegateloans application for higher limit authority
• To detect fraudulent applications, tampered/suspicious documents and ensure timely fraud escalation to Fraud Management Unit
• To ensurecompliance to all laid down rules, regulations, policies, guidelines, procedures, practices and code of conduct imposed by the company
• Establised a positive team work orientedenvironment
• Close monitoring and managing key credit approvalperformance and trending (e.g: Approval Rate, Credit Processing TAT, submission trendand quality for constructive feedbackto business / sales for improvement
• Manage dailyapplication processing arrangement and contribute to process improvement and reengineering
• Able to maintain defaultrate at stipulated target.

Job Description for Credit Assessment (SME)

• Account Maintenance; Perform update as per customerrequest.
• AML, CTOS and SSM search related matter – ad hoc retrieval, merchant on boarding, Trade Advance application etc.
• Application Assessment; AEON Biz Plus application.
• Application Assessment; Executive Business CreditCard application.
• Managing team member in completing work tasks.
• Operation Improvement; documentation and related system.
• Other Tasks;completing any ad hoc tasks as and when required.

Job Requirement for both position:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum 8 years of experience in credit assessment with a strong background in the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of local credit regulations and guidelines, including Bank Negara Malaysia’s regulations.
• Proven track record in managing and evaluating large credit portfolios.
• Proficiency in analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and risk factors to assess the creditworthiness of applicants.
• Experience in leading a team, managing performance, and developing junior staff.
