Job Description

Accounts Receivable:

  • Capture collection in a timely manner including checking with sales department on the various receipt
  • Collaborate with the sales department to reconcile discrepancies of receipt 
  • Ensure outstanding invoice is knock-off timely
  • Ensuring accurate reconciliation of accounts receivable with customers' accounts
  • Handle credit control for customers
  • Filing & sorting customer invoices and franking & posting out customer invoices

 

Account Payable:

  • Assist in the implementation and management of e-invoicing processes
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal departments to facilitate self-billing procedures
  • Verify and process invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies

 

General Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including filing and documentation
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiative within the accounting department
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with accounting principles

 

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/ Advance/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Accounting or equivalent 
  • No working experience required, but must be willing to learn
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Required Language: English & Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to converse in Chinese will be an added advantages 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial records keeping 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal possess the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
