Strategic Analytics is a growing team at Arch that has established itself as a driving force in the success of the business. We focus on implementing real-time analytic solutions that improve profitability and growth. To broaden our impact, we have expanded our focus to deliver business-driven intelligent data automation capabilities that combine data from external vendors with intelligent document processing (IDP) technologies. This includes working with artificial intelligence/machine learning, NLP, OCR, generative AI, and algorithmic-based solutions.
As a key member of the Strategic Analytics team, you will support the solution definition, build and implementation of IDP/AI opportunities across operations, claims, finance, and underwriting teams. You will apply the right mix of technologies across the underwriting and claims functions.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver automated document extraction and data enrichment solutions.
- Manipulate data using Python or SQL; develop ad hoc queries to investigate data anomalies and to summarize data for pattern detection.
- Manually label and validate small training data sets.
- Develop round-trip data flows that prepare data for IDP and format the results for analytical purposes.
- Collaborate with experienced modelers to build predictive models and analytic solutions using Python; apply NLP and machine learning techniques.
- Under supervision use AI technologies such as natural language processing to extract business data from unstructured and semi-structured sources (e.g., loss history reports, insurance applications, claim files, application scraping using OCR/ generative AI, etc.).
- Create technical documentation to archive end-to-end processes.
