Position:   Paralegal Assistant
Working Hours:   Full-Time Mon - Fri 9:00 am - 5:30 pm EST
Salary:   $900 - 1000 (depending on the client’s final offer)

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal Virtual Assistant to join our team. As a Paralegal Virtual Assistant, you will provide critical administrative support to our legal department remotely. Your responsibilities will include managing correspondence, maintaining legal documents, conducting research, and assisting with case preparation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, self-motivated, and interested in gaining hands-on experience in the legal field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize legal documents, ensuring they are properly filed and easily accessible.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and prepare summaries for attorneys.
  • Assist with the preparation of legal documents, including drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal forms.
  • Prepare correspondence and memos, both internal and external, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
  • Schedule and coordinate client meetings, court appearances, and other legal events.
  • Data-Entry, Excel logs, update, and maintain client records, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
  • Assist in preparing trial materials, including exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
  • Handles calls and responds to inquiries 

  • Has at least 1-3 years of proven experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
  • Has a Bachelor's degree
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
  • Proficient in using legal research databases and software.
  • Excellent written and verbal Communication skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
