- Develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools such as Power BI (preferred) / Tableau to provide actionable insights to business users.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions, including data models, ETL processes, and reporting/visualization components.
- Identify and implement optimizations to improve the performance and efficiency of BI solutions, including query tuning, report optimization and data loading.
- Write SQL statements for reporting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and other IT teams to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure alignment of BI solutions with business goals and objectives.
- Create and maintain documentation for BI solutions, including technical specifications, data dictionaries, and user guides. Share knowledge and expertise with team members through training sessions and knowledge sharing activities.
- Build processes to promote best practices and knowledge sharing.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems is preferred.
- Drive discussions around data, metrics and use cases. Constantly seek feedback to improve dashboard latency, accuracy, and interface.
