Job Scopes:
- Identify potential suppliers and conduct comprehensive evaluations based on criteria such as price, quality, delivery speed, and reliability.
- Maintain & expand a good variety database of approved suppliers.
- Negotiate to secure advantageous terms from supplier, such as pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor and analyze purchasing trends to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Oversea the ordering process, ensuring accurate and timely procurement of goods and services.
- Arrangement of import shipment and SST procedures
- Work closely with inventory management teams to minimize excess inventory, and avoid shortages.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers to foster long-term partnerships.
- Stay informed about market trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess a Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in any fields.
- At least 2 years’ experience in relevant job scopes.
- Good command in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin is a must due to need to communicate with China supplier and stakeholder
- Must have export and import related experience
