Key responsibilities:
We’re on the lookout for an infrastructure / dev-ops specialist.
You’ll be responsible for working with our Infrastructure manager to ensure we are running modern, stable and efficient infrastructure providing the business redundancy across its networks and giving engineering the tools they need to delivery quickly and accurately. You’ll also be responsible for tracking and monitoring all areas of the software to identify possible issues and rectify them before they escalate.
What we’re looking for:
- Tech: Passionate about tech, confident with data, databases, and coding languages.
- Infrastructure: Well versed at cloud and hosted physical environments.
- Dev-ops tooling: Great grasp of modern tools and how to implement them to best serve the engineering team.
- Technical Requirements: Detailed technical requirements are your second nature.
- Technical R&D: Research and present different options for new infrastructure and dev-ops tooling that meet the business’ needs.
- Cybersecurity: Grasp of security principles to keep data safe; particularly at the network layer.
- Passion: You are going to have a broad remit and we need you to exhibit passion for finding and implementing solutions with a wide range of tools and ideas.

Essential Skills / qualifications:
- 5+ years relevant experience
- University or equivalent qualification in Computer science, IT or business
- Experience with the following areas:
- Windows Service Administration
- Linux Server Administration
- Jenkins CICD
- Ancible / Sephamore
- Proxmox Virtualisation platform management
- SSL Certificate Management
- PFSense Firewall management
- Load Balancer experience
- Excellent communication skills to support engaging third parties for requirements and specs
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Adaptable and manage change fluidly
