This role involves managing the entire recruitment process for Early Careers requisitions, ensuring that the agreed business demands are met annually. As part of a virtual, global team, the role will collaborate with AECOM's regional Early Careers Talent Acquisition teams responsible for engaging and guiding all stakeholders through proactive, solution-focused approaches.
Responsibilities & Duties
End-to-End Recruitment:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for early career positions (internships, apprenticeships/cadetships, graduate roles), from job posting through onboarding. Requisitions may be high in volume and fast paced at certain times.
- Build excellent relationships with hiring managers to define their recruitment needs and candidate profiles.
- Create and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract diverse early career talent.
- Work with regional TA Managers, Senior Early Careers TA Partners, and Hiring Managers to understand the workforce planning demand and requirements in each fiscal year.
Candidate Sourcing & Attraction:
- Work in partnership with in-country TA Early Career teams to build upon existing strong relationships with universities, colleges, and industry bodies to create a sustainable pipeline of talent.
- Leverage social media, job boards, LinkedIn, campus events, and career fairs to promote our brand and opportunities.
- Implement the in-country TA Early Careers Teams recruitment strategies and organise career fairs.
Candidate Experience:
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience, from initial outreach to offer acceptance, and assist our Pre-Hire Support Team during on boarding.
- Ensure candidates are processed swiftly and kept engaged and informed throughout the recruitment process.
Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives:
- Understand our global and regional EDI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) TA goals and ensure recruiting efforts support diverse hiring goals the covers full representation of the market
- Deliver on specific EDI initiatives that encourage underrepresented talent to apply, ensuring a fair and inclusive recruitment process.
Assessment a Selection:
- Become familiar with and oversee the delivery of the assessment process for early careers candidates; this includes screening questions, our situational judgement test, and business competency interviews based on selection criteria.
- Coordinate and facilitate interviews, partnering with hiring managers to ensure the right cultural and skills fit.
Data Tracking & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of candidates and recruitment metrics using Smart Recruiters Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Provide regular updates to the team on progress, hiring targets, and key metrics.
Employer Branding:
- Support the marketing and employer branding teams, and our in-country Early Careers TA teams to enhance the company's employer brand on campuses and across digital channels, specifically in the candidate attraction phase This includes the use of content developed by in-country teams specifically for AECOM early careers (careers site, brochures, and events postcards as examples).
General
- Escalate issues and recommend resolutions to the Team Lead for timely resolution. May support junior members of the team in addressing routine issues within the assigned processes.
- Maintain the SOP/DTP of current processes and incorporate documentation updates as required.
- Perform moderately complex tasks in compliance with service level agreement, process, policies, and procedures.
- Propose alternatives in identified issues and assist in investigating and in resolving common and unusual issues.
- Identify areas for improvement to drive excellence in the end-to-end Early Careers recruitment and onboarding cycle.
- Contribute specialized expertise to different assigned projects and may provide key updates to Team Lead and Manager.
