Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Effectively manage and coordinate human resources activities throughout a life cycle of an employee which includes recruitment, development and employee relations through:
- Develop comprehensive HR strategies that enhance organizational performance.
- Lead HR transformation initiatives to improve employee engagement and productivity.
- Strategic talent management
- Implement competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain talented employees.
- Ensure the organization complies with employment laws, internal policies, and industry standards.
- Create a culture that drives ‘Our safe Behaviours’, The OceanaGold Way and Respect at work.
- Influences key stakeholders, including senior leadership and external partners, to align their actions with organizational strategy.
- Designs and leads workforce planning strategies that support long-term business goals
- Influence strategic decision-making through data-driven insights,
- Continuously improve processes and systems to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Facilitate the performance review process and help employees if they face any challenges during the same.
- Assess and refine the work culture to ensure it aligns with the organization’s overall mission and vision.
- Create a culture that drives ‘Our safe Behaviours’, The OceanaGold Way and Respect at work.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the Asset President – Didipio Operations and other internal and external parties.
