Key Responsibilities:
Software Development:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Ruby on Rails.
- Implement and manage scalable and efficient API infrastructures.
Database Management:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain database systems using PostgreSQL (PSQL).
- Ensure data integrity, security, and performance across our database environments.
Cloud Services:
- Utilize AWS services (such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) to build and maintain cloud-based applications.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost efficiency and performance.
Microservices Development:
- Design and develop microservices to ensure a modular and decoupled system architecture.
- Ensure services are robust, maintainable, and scalable.
Additional Skills (Plus):
- Knowledge of DNS systems and domain management is a plus, enhancing our ability to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Collaboration and Leadership:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
