As an Analyst 2, Finance, and part of the Global Payments, you will be responsible in processing the end-to-end payments for the assigned region or entity on a timely and accurate manner that requires close coordination with key stakeholders such as AP Team, Corporate & Local Treasury, and other Teams within GFO. You also need to ensure that issues or concerns will be addressed and resolved on a timely manner and to maintain a harmonious relationship with your stakeholders. It is also expected that you will contribute to the improvement of the entire payment process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform day to day financial transactions, including timely and accurate processing and validation of invoices.
• Ensure that Purchase Orders (PO) and Goods Receipts (GR) are properly matched and processed (3-way/2-way match).
• Verify, investigate, and handle invoice discrepancies and invoices on hold for assigned entities and suppliers.
• Review and reconcile complex and critical supplier statement of accounts against company's records.
• Work cross functionally to resolve any invoice/payment issues.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliation at month end for the assigned accounts.
• Perform pre-pay audits on selected expense reports.
• Provide guidance and assistance to employees in Concur system navigation, expense processing, and questions related to WD's Travel policy.
• Provide support to Internal Audit, Payroll, Tax and other business units during the review and investigation of Concur related transactions.
• Compliance with SSC Accounts Payable KPIs and process metrics.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ongoing projects.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• In-charge of Intercompany (IC) transactions, IC AR and AP monitoring, quarterly IC bill outs preparation, issuance, and reconciliation. Monitoring and management of IC contracts and other supporting documents
• Monitoring and recognition of expense for prepaid accounts such as Prepaid Insurance and Prepaid Others. And prepare reconciliation reports for each account.
• Monitoring and preparation of reconciliation report of Prepaid Employee Expenses and Due from Employees and request Salary Deduction for identified employees when needed.
• Review, processing and posting of Payroll entries and other employee related benefits
• Monitoring and preparation of monthly closing Journal entries
• Non-PO invoices review and accrual
• Computation and Monitoring of Employee Salary Deductions.
• Indirect Material Shipments Accounting review and approval.
• Supports monthly Financials preparation and reporting.

Schedule: Monday – Friday (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM AEST)

What are we looking for?

• Graduate of Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 2 years of AU Accounting experience required
• CPA certification is preferred
• Proficient in using XERO and Excel. Familiarity with other software such as Karbon, Toggl, Google Suite, and Hubdoc is advantageous
• Demonstrated expertise in core accounting skills

• Working closely with Accountants to support day to day functions including competition of month end processes and preparation of workpapers for compliance based tasks.
• Completion of monthly accounting processes including bank reconciliations, debtors and creditors.
• Preparing month end queries.
