We are looking for graduate of BS Accountancy with 1-to-2-year experience to join our accounting department.

The successful candidate will be responsible to all Accounts Payable transactions. This role will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and ensuring that payments and expenditures are monitored and processed in an efficient, effective, and accurate manner.

Our ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge of bookkeeping, tax payments and BIR compliances. You should also be able to monitor daily transactions and recommend ways we can improve our payment processes and procedures.

Job Purpose: To provide administrative and financial support to the Accounting Supervisor.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

·       Take responsibility for the day-to-day processing of all purchases, ensuring that invoices are checked, and prices are correct and that any discrepancies are investigated and dealt with appropriately

·       Ensure that invoices are authorized for payment by relevant department managers and matched to purchase orders where applicable

·       Ensure that invoices are recorded and entered in the system using appropriate account codes and that payments are posted on the system appropriately.

·       Set up new supplier accounts and amend existing supplier details as necessary

·       As required, assist in tax computation, filing and payment

·       As required, assist in journal transaction entries

·       As required, assist with account reconciliations as well as identifying and correcting accounting errors

·       Any other duties as reasonably directed by the direct supervisor or other member of the management team

·       Bachelor Degree in accounting.

·       Previous experience in a similar role

·       Advanced MS Excel knowledge (familiarity with formulas, VLOOKUPs and pivot tables) and QuickBooks accounting software.

Position : Accounting Operations Analyst 2

Working Hours : 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM US Pacific Time (PST)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain accounting and financial files, including financial workbooks, property spreadsheets, and trackers
• Work with Property Managers, Asset Managers and other accountants to enter information into financial workbooks
• Assist with monthly reporting process
• Check emails daily (manage personal inbox, accounting inbox)
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Analyze financial data and provide support for accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including A/R analysis, collections, and vendor inquiries.
• Update ACH information and assist with tenant billings as needed.
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and budget-to-actual explanations, creating invoices and
  posting charges to tenant ledgers
• Provide support for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and reporting, including
  generating, modifying, preparing, and formatting monthly financial reports for the company properties
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation in electronic filing systems, including
  maintaining the Accounting Dropbox folder hierarchy and integrity.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and address inquiries in a
  timely manner.
• Work on ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed, including projects where there may be
  ambiguity or which do not have clearly established processes to reference
• Maintain and update accounting and financial information in the prescribed standards and
  systems
• Flexibility to support several different teammates within the Property Accounting department
  and to prioritize and balance different responsibilities
• Effectively and clearly track and communicate the status of workflow tasks to supervisors
• Prepare journal entries (tenant charges, receipts, payables, accounting-related journal entries or
  reclasses) within our accounting system, including providing adequate supporting
  documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
• CPA is preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in finance, financial operations, accounting, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of debits and credits and bookkeeping entries
