This position will report locally to the Audit Manager in Manila, and you’ll be expected to work closely with partners in Chicago and London. Through collaboration with other team members, you will design and lead the end-to-end execution of audit engagements and gain exposure to senior management across Northern Trust. Success is measured by the comprehensiveness of the workpapers, quality of the audit reports, mentoring of junior staff, timeliness of the deliveries, and your ability to foster relationships both internally in the audit department and with key stakeholders. While not required, experience in data manipulation, transformations, and reconciliations is highly desired. Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

The role will provide support to the accounting and will work on various functions specifically on the AR and AP side, and this will be directly reporting to the accounting supervisor.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performs competent general accounting tasks but not limited to.
• Implements the company’s accounting control procedures.
• Must apply and perform the following: Understand and master work-flow processes, Problem Solving and Analysis, Time Management, Project Monitoring and Reporting.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Accountancy. CPA is not required.
• At least one (1) year work experience
• Proficient in Microsoft.
• Preferably someone knowledgeable with QuickBooks.
• Knowledgeable on BIR and other government remittances.
