Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

1.  Provides general accounting and reporting services to the regional Supply and Trading Finance organizations in Asia Pacific that may include but are not limited to:
•  Settles payables and send out invoices to 3rd party counterparties, affiliates and intercompany entities after interpreting contracts and validating important and required information against necessary documents.

•  Works with the front office and/or middle office to update and correct pricing and quantities in Trading System (SRA).
•  Enters accrual entries into SAP based on invoices or other necessary documents that are not yet received in time for the month-end close.
•  Accounts for all associated secondary costs to physical transactions.
•  Accounts for other instruments used to hedge company price in SRA and SAP.
•  Prepares forecast of cash payments and receipts reporting.
•  Performs month-end reconciliations including GL Account reconciliation, SRA-SAP reconciliation, inventory reconciliation and address Interco imbalances.
•  Reconcile strategies and providing preliminary P&L analysis.

•  Supports and provide comments for the balance sheet accounts reconciliation including trace and escalation.
•  Supports SOX controls and testing, and internal/external audit requirements.
•  Handles ad-hoc inquiries from In-country Finance, Front/Middle Office as well as counterparties (3rd Party, Affiliates or Intercompany).
 

2.  Partnering with Manila Midstream Accounting Leadership Team in delivering reliable and cost-efficient services:
•  Monitors effectiveness of applicable controls, assesses gaps, develop corrective plans, report on progress made, and results.
•  Establishes processes and procedures to ensure conformance and alignment with corporate requirements.
•  Supports internal and external financial audits; serves as a contact for internal and external auditors.  Provides guidance on financial internal control issues.
•  Assists team in executing the work plans and support its revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
 

Required Qualifications:

•  Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
•  Minimum of five (5) years overall work experience.
•  Good oral and written communication skills
•  Strong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skills
•  Must have the propensity to work in a proactive, results-oriented, and customer-focused environment
•  Open to shifting schedule

Preferred Qualifications:
•  Experience in SAP

In this role, you’re expected to:

• Performs Payroll accounting related entries, validation and reports, as required
• Responsible for the security and confidentiality of sensitive data that will be handled.
• Responsible and accountable for general ledger and reconciliation along with responding to any Finance related queries, as well as any proofing related queries.
• Accountable for ensuring HRSS is compliant with all local regulatory and legal requirements related to the accounting transactions posted

• Responsible for working in partnership with Citibank’s vendor (as applicable) on any payroll GL related initiatives and errors whilst processing payroll.
• Provides support for projects related to payroll accounting as required, such as continual improvement and standardization of payroll GL operations.
• Ensures the operating manual procedures are reviewed and updated yearly and when necessary.
• Partner and support Citibank’s HR partners, business heads and designated authorized officers to deliver efficient and high level of customer service.
• Strictly adheres to Risk & Control policies and procedures (such as but not limited to: adherence to secure workplace guidelines, mandatory compliance training and identification/improvement of key risks areas) and reports possible gaps/ breaches. Ensure internal controls are in place.
• Accountable to meet all SLAs and KPIs.

The Accounts Receivable Analyst (ARA) is responsible for all customer accounts being kept current and paid within payment terms. The position consists of a variety of financial, clerical, and administrative duties including, but not limited to preparing initial and follow-up letters, collection calls to clients, data entry and resolving routine problems. This position interacts regularly with both external and internal customers. Under general supervision, the ARA will organize a recovery system and initiate collection efforts of all delinquent customer accounts.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare statements of account, invoices, and credit memos.
• Process and record AR transactions in the Oracle system.
• Work with the collections/treasury department to review accounts and client payments.
