Qualifications:

• Master's / Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent.
• Total 8+ years of experience and in that 5+ years of experience in office interior design, with experience in team management.
• Strong graphical skills, with proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Excellent understanding of color theory, material selection, and space planning principles.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to work collaboratively with different teams, fostering a supportive work environment and quality design outcomes.

The FM Design Manager will play a key role in overseeing and managing the design process for FM projects. They will be responsible for ensuring that design deliverables meet client requirements and industry standards. The FM Design Manager will collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to develop innovative and practical design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design team in the development of FM design concepts and solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure coordination and integration of design activities.
• Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Participate in project meetings and present design concepts to clients and stakeholders.

What will you do?

• Interpret architectural drawings and producing shop drawings using AutoCAD.
• Produce and send accurate drawings to the CAD team.
• Ensure drawings are presentable and ready for submission with document transmittals to the builders/clients for their approval prior to manufacture.
• Provide comprehensive support to the design team, including actioning and following up on inquiries.
• Manage all emails for Accounts, Admin and Rentals.
• Monitor team channels and address queries from managers and tradesmen efficiently.
